Bell tent accommodation for parties, birthdays, sleepovers and retreats across the UK
Why glamp
Why keep everyone over
The party does not end when the taxis would normally arrive. Pre-pitched tents mean nobody has to drive, nobody leaves early, and the night runs as long as it wants to. Guests get a real bed feet from the celebration, and you wake up to everyone still there for the morning. Birthdays, big anniversaries, sleepovers, the reason is always the same: keep your people together.
Three core choices. Add beds, bedding and extras to any package. 5m bell tent sleeps up to 4 people.

FAQs
Common questions.
What kind of private events do you do?
Milestone birthdays, garden parties, sleepovers, hen and stag weekends, family reunions, corporate retreats and away-days, anniversaries, post-wedding parties. If it needs guests staying somewhere proper for a night or two, the bell tents work.
What is the smallest event you do?
Minimum 5 tents under 2 hours from York. Distance scales the minimum (2-4 hours: 10 tents, 4+ hours: 15-20 tents). Smaller jobs work if you can fill the van.
Can you set up in a private garden?
Yes, as long as the ground is reasonably flat and we can get the van within carrying distance of the pitch. We have set up in suburban gardens, country estates, working farms, and rented venues. Send a postcode and photos and we will confirm.
Can I pay part of each tent so my guests pay less?
Yes. You can cover any portion of each tent, £150, £100, whatever you want to subsidise. Guests see the reduced price on the portal and only pay the difference plus any extras they add. We invoice you for your contribution once bookings come in.
How far in advance do we need to book?
Summer Saturdays book up months out. Most private events lock in 1-3 months ahead, which usually works fine. Last-minute is possible mid-week and off-season.
When do you need final tent numbers?
About two weeks out for production. Until then you can scale up or down freely. A rough estimate at booking is fine, most events change between pencil-in and final count.
Is the price per night or for the full event?
For the full event period, typically setup-day to takedown-day. A 3-night weekend hire is the same price as the same tent on a 2-night weekend. Multi-week hires get costed separately.
When are setup and takedown for a multi-day event?
Usually setup the day before guests arrive, takedown the day after they leave. For a Friday-to-Sunday event that means Thursday setup, Monday strike. We can flex on either if the venue dictates.
What sort of beds do you provide?
Real raised bed frames available on every tent, not camp beds. Singles can be arranged as a king. Memory foam mattresses and full bedding sets are optional add-ons. Airbeds are an option too if you want to keep things light.
Can I share the booking link as a QR code on invites?
Yes. We send the link in a format you can copy onto invites, the QR code generates from it. Some hosts add it to their event website, others print on save-the-dates.
Can I use your tent photos on my event website?
Yes. Use any of our gallery images on your event page to link to the booking portal. Just credit "The Glamping Group" alongside the photo.
Do you supply tables and chairs?
Not from us, but we have worked with reliable furniture-hire suppliers and can put you in touch.
What about toilets and showers?
For garden parties, your house bathroom usually covers it. For venues without facilities or larger events, we can recommend reliable suppliers for portable loos and showers, you book them direct.
How does payment work?
25% deposit confirms the booking. 25% at 6 weeks before the event. Final balance, based on actual final tent count, 14 days before. Guest payments through the booking portal go direct via Stripe.
"The team were really great to work with and the service was excellent. My daughter and friends had a fabulous time in the tee pee, we booked it for 2 nights as it was so much fun! Thank you so much."

About us
Family-run, from Yorkshire.
The Glamping Group was launched by Max and Ruby in 2020. We started with just two bell tents and have since worked on hundreds of events, from festivals and weddings to parties and corporate days, right across the UK, building glamping villages for up to 500 guests. Still the two of us at the helm, still doing it because we love it.
