Pricing & packages

How much do bell tents cost?

Three packages per tent, all 48-hour weekend hire, including VAT: Unfurnished £159, Essentials £180, Luxury £209. Bed frames, bedding, towels and styling are optional add-ons.

What's the difference between Unfurnished, Essentials and Luxury?

Unfurnished (£159) is the bell tent set up, no furniture. Essentials (£180) adds an apple crate side table, camping light and doormat. Luxury (£209) is fully styled, with rugs, cushions, faux flowers, a vanity mirror and a welcome pack. Real beds and bedding sets are optional add-ons on any package.

How much do stretch tents cost?

Small (7m × 10.5m): from £995. Medium (10.5m × 15m): £1,750. All inc VAT, with full setup and takedown included. Delivery is added on, calculated on distance from York/Malton. Festival pricing differs and is quoted per event.

What's the minimum order?

Minimums scale with distance: under 2 hours, 5 tents; 2-4 hours, 10; 4 hours plus, 15-20.

Do you charge for delivery?

Yes, delivery is a separate line based on driving distance from York/Malton. Under 1hr: £120-150. 1.5hr: £200. 2-2.5hr: £250-350. 3hr+: £350-500+.

Do you offer payment plans?

25% deposit confirms the booking. 25% at 6 weeks before the event. Final balance (based on actual final requirements) 14 days before.

Beds, bedding, comfort

What sort of beds do you provide?

Real raised bed frames available on every tent, not camp beds. Single raised frames (£18) can be arranged as a king. Memory foam mattresses (£30) available. Airbeds (£6 single, £12 double) available too if you want to keep things light.

Do you provide bedding?

Yes, optional. Bedding sets (13.5 tog duvet, pillow, white linen) £22 per person. Towel sets £16.

Are the tents waterproof?

Yes. Bell tents and stretch tents are both designed for UK weather. We pick groundsheets and rigging to handle rain.

What about wind?

Stretch tents are particularly wind-resilient thanks to the tensioned design. Bell tents are securely pegged. We rig conservatively in exposed venues.

Logistics & setup

When do you set up?

Set up the day before your event, takedown the day after. You don't lift a tent peg, charge a battery, or chase a forecast.

How far do you travel?

Based in York/Malton, working nationwide. Delivery cost scales with distance. Send a postcode and date and we'll quote within 24 hours.

How many tents per van?

Up to 30 bell tents per Luton van. Larger jobs are multi-van. Festival jobs scale to 70+ tents with extended crew.

Can the tents go on uneven ground?

Bell tents need reasonably flat ground. Stretch tents handle uneven ground better, the tensioned canvas plus aluminium poles plus ground anchors flex around the terrain rather than forcing a rigid box onto it.

Booking & payments

How does the free guest booking system work?

Your event gets a private booking portal. You share the one link with guests, each guest picks their tent, picks their package, and pays direct via Stripe. No spreadsheets, no chasing payments. Free for every event, not just weddings.

Can hosts contribute to each tent so guests pay less?

Yes. You can cover any portion of each tent on the portal, £100, £150, whatever you want to subsidise. Guests see the reduced price and only pay the difference plus extras. We invoice you for your contribution once bookings come in.

Can guests pick different packages within the same event?

Yes. Guests choose their own package on the portal and add bed/bedding upgrades if they want. You can let them choose freely, or lock everyone into one package if you prefer.

When do I need to book?

Summer Saturdays book up fast. For weddings 6-18 months out is normal. Festivals 6-12 months. Private events, 1-3 months out is usually fine.

Can I change my booking?

Yes, final tent count is locked 14 days before. Up to that point you can adjust packages, bed add-ons, and headcount.

What happens if it rains?

Tents are weatherproof. Events go ahead. We're in the UK, most outdoor events plan for rain anyway.
